Bishop Shanahan and Bishop Galvin Parents Association would like to say a big thank you to all parents / guardians and children of Bishop Shanahan and Bishop Galvin for all the beautiful cakes produced on the day of the sale.

Many thanks to the Principals and Teachers for their assistance during the sale.

It was a huge success and the amount raised was €1,739.35

Events organised by the Parents Association

During the year the Parents Association organise various educational talks for parents. These could include talks on Addiction/Bullying, Relationships and also talks on Healthy Eating.

Money raised by the Parents Association is donated to the school at various times through out the year – the printing and publication of confirmation booklets, Green Flag prizes, prizes towards Art Week organised by the school.

A Newsletter is also printed and distributed throughout the year, informing parents of upcoming events.

Meetings are held with Principals of both schools throughout the year as required.
